Water & Wastewater

From large in-ground clarifiers to steel aboveground batch tanks to small chemical storage tanks, water and wastewater facilities run the gamut of inspection needs.  Each style of tank requires specific knowledge and capability to inspect correctly.  TSP has the experience needed to do the job right every time.

Our API-653 certified inspectors have experience inspecting clarifiers and batch tanks constructed using API and AWWA standards.  Our batch tank inspections emphasize concerns related to erosion-corrosion and crevice corrosion, which often result from the continuous mixing of hard to specify compounds.  Our team includes an expert on concrete, whose input is valuable when it comes time to evaluate concrete clarifier tank floors.

Not to be overlooked are the smaller chemical holding tanks, which are often made of fiberglass, and which are known to contain relatively harsh chemicals.  Our SP8310 inspectors are specifically certified to inspect FRP tanks using industry-leading best practices and patented UltraAnalytix technology.  We are also well versed in plastic tank inspection, for facilities which prefer plastic to FRP.
